Probably one my favorite characters of all time, the Silver Surfer finally makes it into a movie.
Mashable has a post on Virb, a social networking site being brewed up by the guys who built and run Purevolume. I really feel that Myspace has reached it’s peak and is on it’s way down, I don’t have statistical numbers to prove that but call it a gut feeling, that’s why I too think that Virb is going to takeover in 2007, from the screenshots I’ve seen and from reviews I’ve read this service is going to be huge. Purevolume is a great site and is beautifully designed and engineered so they have that going for them as well.
I noticed that virtual console games on the Wii can be transferred to an SD card. I would imagine that the games aren’t portable, meaning you aren’t able to export them to other Wii machines, but how soon until somebody makes a hack that enables you to do so?

I always knew something was fishy with the way we received our movies from Netflix. We usually blamed inventory or problems with USPS but this article tends to explain things. I’ve had coworkers of mine tell me how nice the Blockbuster online rental service is and while I generally dislike the Blockbuster corporation, I still do find myself running there in between Netflix deliveries so I might as well give their online service a shot.
I have to admit that I was a little confused with OpenID when it started gaining some steam. This article is a great article that explains the idea and use really well.
